An important public meeting of Community Board 7 will take place on Thursday, October 8th, 7:00 PM at the Annex to the Church of St. Paul the Apostle, 405 West 59th Street (between Columbus and Amsterdam).

Those of us who live around West 72 noticed, unbelievably, MORE THAN
35 tour buses lined up and illegally parked on West 72 all the way to WEA on Saturday, 5/16 including huge numbers of people disembarking on our streets creating mayhem.
Conversations with the buses drivers and folks onboard produced no
sympathy for our situation. They are tourists.

As some are aware, Extell is in the planning stages of a new mega-development for the area bounded by West End, Riverside, West 59th and West 62nd. Their proposal includes 5 high-rise condo and office buildings (35-50 stories each), an elementary school, a movie theater, green space, and an auto dealership.
